Description
Overview
– FR-C / XLPE / PVC / DSTA / PVC fire retardant cables are designed to maintain electrical power for equipment, limiting the spread of flames when affected by a fire.
– Fire-retardant cables suitable for use in public works, backup electrical systems, emergency systems, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, smoke and smoke alarms, exit light systems insurance … rated voltage 0.6 / 1 kV, fixed installation.
Applied standard
– TCVN 5935-1 / IEC 60502-1.
– TCVN 6612 / IEC 60228.
– IEC 60332-1.3. IEC 60331-21.
Cable identification
– By colored stripes:
+ Cable 1 core: Natural color, no color stripes.
+ Multi-core cables: Red – yellow – blue stripes – no color stripes.
– Or according to customer requirements.
Structure
Technical features
– Voltage level U0 / U: 0.6 / 1 kV.
– Test voltage: 3.5 kV (5 minutes).
– Permissible long-term working temperature for conductors is 90ºC.
– The maximum allowable temperature of the conductor when short-circuiting for no more than 5 seconds is 250ºC.
– Fire-retardant cable has characteristics of slow fire transmission so it is difficult to catch fire.
– The cable has the ability to turn itself off after removing the fire source.
